I'm Gen! I’m the kind of person who will cry during your vows, chat with your grandparents about their life story, and play hide-and-seek with your nieces and nephews.
Since having our two little boys, I’ve really noticed how quickly time slips through your fingers. And at the risk of sounding super cheesy, life is long but also painfully short—and to me, that’s the whole point of weddings: being with the people you love most and celebrating love while you can.
I’m drawn to the kind of art that lingers—a painting where the light won’t let you go, a film that sits heavy in your chest, a song or line of poetry that’s equal parts beautiful and heartbreaking. But just as much, I’m inspired by the layers of a life: how people love, why they are the way they are, and the ways their story has shaped who they’ve become. I carry all of that with me—in my own life and in my work. And it’s what guides me to notice those little nuances, to feel everything intently, and to honour moments in the way they deserve.

How do I know if we're the right fit?
Gut feeling, baby! For weddings and elopements, I always book a quick call with both partners so we can make sure it's a good fit on all sides...like a first date, but with fewer awkward silences. For sessions, I’m always around to chat, voice note, or swap memes until we know we’re a good match.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you can! I only take on a limited number of weddings and sessions each year to give everyone the time they deserve—and because I love getting to know my people (yes, I also love to talk). Got a date in mind? Reach out and I’ll let you know what’s possible!
Why don't you offer wedding packages?
Honestly? Because packages feel too limiting. Every couple, every celebration—it’s all so different. Your photography experience should reflect that.
Most of the couples I work with care deeply about having space to be present. To not feel rushed. But how that takes shape—the pace of the day, the kinds of moments you want room for, where you place value—is always different. That’s where our initial call comes in. Once you’ve inquired, I want to hear everything: how you met, what matters to you, the thoughtful details you’re weaving into the day. From there, I’ll build a custom experience—with optional add-ons—based on what you’ve shared and what I believe will support your vision best.
If I think something will add depth or help tell your story more fully, I’ll suggest it. But only if it truly serves you.

What happens after I inquire?
You’ll get an automated email from me right away so you know I got your message. For weddings, I’ll be in touch within 24 hours to book our initial video call—very low key and just to make sure we’re the right fit. For sessions, you’ll receive a proposal. You'll be able to review all the details and book straight into my calendar based on availability.
I'm super awkward in front of the camera...
…says everyone, always! And you’re definitely not alone in feeling that way. Most people feel a little nervous at first (having a camera in your face isn't exactly a day-to-day thing), but 10 minutes in, it starts to feel like we're just hanging out. I’ll guide when needed, and pull back when you're having a moment. You definitely don’t have to “perform”—just be yourself, and keep coming back to each other.
What happens after the photos?
After our time together, you'll carry on with whatever you were doing—and maybe giggle to yourself when one of my lame-ass jokes pops back into your head. You'll receive your Preview Gallery within 1 week, and your Final Gallery within 6 weeks. From there, I'll get to work on crafting any Printed Products you might've added on.
