But Really, What's Next...

Life is full of stages. One moment you're setting up your first apartment, and the next, you find yourself surrounded by crayons, diapers, and the joyous laughter of your little ones. Change is the only constant, and sometimes, amidst the whirlwind of life, we reach a point where we pause and think, "What's next?"

I've been going through what some might call a "quarter-life crisis" recently. An itch for change has been overwhelming, almost palpable. The desire to pack up, move, leave the nine-to-five grind and spend my days capturing life's most beautiful moments through my lens is overpowering. I even cut my hair in an act of mini-rebellion, a small but empowering shift.

Is It Just Me?

I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling this way. As mothers, especially, we often get so caught up in caring for our families that we forget about our needs, our ambitions, and our dreams. And it's completely okay to feel that way. It's okay to crave change; it's what pushes us towards growth and new opportunities.

So, what does all this have to do with lifestyle photography? Just like we crave change in our personal lives, we also need to keep our memories fresh, genuine, and evolving. The photos I capture are all about those 'in-between' moments that make up your day-to-day life. The real, raw moments you'll look back on during times of personal reflection or when you're contemplating your next life shift. They're a reminder of your journey and how far you've come.

It All Means Something

When you look back on these photos years from now—whether you're in a new home, a new job, or simply a new stage in your life—you'll be reminded of the beauty in the ordinary and the extraordinary. You'll be reminded of the love that fills the walls of your home and the reasons why you wanted change in the first place.

So while we may not have all the answers right now, we do have today, and the story that today tells is one worth capturing.
